About Us

Projects by Design, founded by Dan Barringer MBA, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, DASSM®, delivers training, consults, and assists with project management staffing to businesses, not-for-profits, and military and civilian individuals. At the heart of the company is their Vision:

“We know that by LEARNING and adapting our customers can apply a variety of project management practices and methodologies in order to TRANSFORM project teams into high performing, powerfully effective, value focused DELIVERY organizations.”

LEARNING translates to our training programs. Unlike other training companies, Projects by Design is one of only a handful of companies that are certified by PMI to train in Disciplined Agile. We’re constantly staying current with the latest trends and developments in project management methods and practices. We pride ourselves in staying ahead of the curve.

TRANSFORMing project teams into high-performance teams most often requires more than training. It requires a great coach who can guide and help shape new behaviors based on their decades of experience and objective assessment of an organization’s current practices and company objectives. Our consulting services are ideal for both new and seasoned PMOs.

DELIVERY can be problematic for some teams who are short-staffed or are faced with a large or an unusually complicated deliverable. Projects by Design can augment a team with much-needed staff to get through difficult, short-term situations.
